Co-operation with foreign scientific centres

Since 1983 the Institute for Market, Consumption and Business Cycles Research, the only Polish institute of this kind, has been a full member of the Association des Institutes Europeens de Conjuncture Economique (AIECE). The AIECE is made up of 36 renowned Institutes from Western and Central Europe, including five key German, four French and two British Institutes. Our Institute also co-operates with China's Academy of International Trade and Economic Co-operation which operates alongside China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation (CAITEC of MOFTEC) and with the Academy of Sciences in Moscow (the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute for International Economics and Political Studies).

The Institute has for several years been a member of the Polish European Communities Studies Association (PECSA).
