European Integration Unit
Carries out scientific and research work in the field of: • European integration processes; • within the framework of the European Union (including the issues of economic regional cooperation between the new member states); • cooperation with the EU candidate countries; • cooperation of the European Union with the South and East European countries; • studies on the economic situation, structural changes and business condition in the integrating countries; • studies on the Poland's position in the EU, and, in particular, on: - impact of the European integration on Poland's economy, - adjustments in the institutional, structural and economic policy areas connected with the EU internal market development, - international trade development trends, with a particular consideration of the processes of regional and multilateral integration. Within the Unit there is prepared and edited the bimonthly European Union (former European Communities).
